Association of Filipino Teachers In Eastern America, Inc.

Once again, the Association of Fil-Am Teachers of America, Inc. (AFTA, Inc.) is honoring the Outstanding Fil-Am students, teachers, administrators and civic leaders during the Gabi ng Parangal 2017 on May 27 that was held at Astoria World Manor in New York City. The AFTA President Dr. Raul Cajigas, the past AFTA, Inc. President and the present Director of eLearning & Academic Technology at Rockland Community College, State University of New York (SUNY), Professor Lilia Juele, and the talented master of ceremony, Prof. Ramil Buenaventura, together with the other energetic officers, are humbly presenting these memorable awards of recognitions for the 2nd time in different categories, namely: Phil-Am Exemplary Leadership Award for Students (PERLAS), America's Finest Teacher Award-Ulirang Guro, the Dona Teodora Award, and the Dangal ng Lahi Award. In fact, Prof. Marvin Cadornigara, an AFTEA, Inc. member, is one of the recipients of the "Ulirang Guro" Awards given to any brightest teacher of this time.
