Once again, we had witnessed how the Filipino people in the United States of America showed the spirit of solidarity - honoring our forefathers, our faith, our unique culture and traditions by participating in the 119th Philippine Independence Anniversary Commemoration on its 27th Annual Parade 2017, the biggest celebration in the U.S. right here in New York City, the greatest city in the world! Of course, this huge event was highlighted by the presence of Philippine International beauties, guest actors, actresses and singers who showed up on this wonderful occasion in addition to other local performers and folk dancers, who completed the afternoon. Our Philippine Government officials headed by our Consul General, Ma. Theresa B. Dixon-DeVega of the Philippine Consulate, New York, also graced this memorable and remarkable event.
